StatementIQ is built on bank-grade security principles. We do not sell your personal data, we encrypt all documents at rest with AES-256, and you can permanently delete your statements at any time.

1. Information We Collect

When you register for StatementIQ, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. When you upload bank statements, our automated OCR engine extracts transaction metadata (dates, descriptions, amounts, and category tags) solely to provide analytical insights.

2. How Your Data Is Processed & Stored

All files are transmitted over secure TLS 1.3 encrypted channels and stored using AES-256 bit encryption. Bank statements are processed in isolated sandbox workers. Password-protected PDFs are decrypted in memory during processing.

3. AI Model Data Policy (Zero-Training Guarantee)

Your uploaded financial documents and chat interactions are NEVER used to train public AI models. AI queries strictly use localized vector context to answer plain-English questions about your specific statements.

4. Data Ownership & Right to Erasure

You maintain 100% ownership of your data. You may delete any uploaded statement, chat history, or delete your entire account permanently through the Settings page.
